Yes, We took 4 Kids Under Age 12 to Europe!

My husband and I have traveled to different parts of Europe several times. The experiences we had in the past, traveling to Europe, were indescribable. We wanted our children's worldview to widen. My husband is from Norfolk Va and I am from Baltimore, MD. Traveling was something that was limited to where our families could drive when we were children. Our worldview's were so narrow. I didn't get on my first airplane until I was 21. I decided to organize a group of 64 people to go on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. My parents and siblings went and we had a ball. From that moment, I knew that I wanted to travel as many places in the world as possible. I have been traveling the world every opportunity I get since that first cruise!

So, we decided to book a Mediterranean cruise for our 4 children, my parents and my 93 year old grandma. My children and my grandmother had never left the country. They were so excited! Traveling with them all was like traveling for the first time! In June of 2016, we all flew to Barcelona were we all stayed at the Crown Plaza Fira Center. It was priced reasonably and was in the perfect location (Close to the Magic Fountain). Barcelona was amazing! We stayed there 3 days before our cruise.

We prepared to get on our brand new cruise ship, Royal Caribbean, Harmony of The Sea. It was worth the wait! The ship was phenomenal! It had the largest slide at sea, Bionic bartenders, an Aqua Theater, Broadway plays, etc. We cruised from Barcelona to Mallorca to Marseille to Florence/Pisa to Naples to Rome and back to Barcelona. My children enjoyed beach time in Mallorca. They also enjoyed seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum in Rome, Pompeii, etc. My 4 year old did tantrum a bit because he was tired of walking on the cobblestone roads in Pompeii! LOL! You can't win them all!

The trip was 2 years ago but the children and my grandmother still talk as if it was yesterday. They are ready for our next adventure in Dubai. My children are coming and my grandmother, age 95, is coming too. Stay tuned!
